Our History
Carter Electronics Service Co., Inc. was founded in 1959 by Aubrey Carter. For the next 33 years, Aubrey would provide the leadership and vision to make Carter Electronics Service Co., Inc. a leading service provider of communications equipment in the greater Charleston area. This included the honor of becoming an authorized Motorola Service Station (MSS) in 1960. Over the past 45 years as an MSS, we have strived to provide the highest quality service to our customers by providing timely and cost efficient repairs to their equipment. In 1992, we began our second generation of family owned leadership, as Kevin Carter became President.
We currently operate out of two locations – Summerville and Charleston. We have fourteen (14) employees including, seven (7) Motorola factory trained technicians to design, troubleshoot and service a wide variety of equipment from our locations in Summerville and Charleston.
We are the premier system integrator of wireless communication systems and services for Motorola Communication Equipment. Our team of sales, service and operations are among the most qualified and best trained in the wireless industry.
